  Abstract

A method for calculating the resonant frequencies of rectangular and equilateral triangular microstrip antennas at the same time, based on artificial neural networks, is presented. BackPropagation(BP) learning algorithm is used to train the proposed model. The results obtained using the presented network are compared with and are in good agreement with the results reported elsewhere. This neural method is simple and is useful for computer-aided design of microstrip antennas.
