  Abstract

A multiuser relaying scheme based on signal superposition and message passing algorithm is proposed to improve communication reliability in the uplink of cellular systems. We first present a resource allocation structure for the uplink relaying system, and then devise the overlapped resource allocation and the message passing algorithm based on belief propagation. Simulation results are provided to compare the performance of the proposed approach with that of the conventional orthogonal resource allocation.
