  Abstract

This paper proposes a base station transmit power control method according to the distance between earth station and base station under the environments where satellite and terrestrial multi-cell networks share the C-band. The simulation results based on the ITU models demonstrate that the proposed scheme significantly improves the satellite performance while not degrading much the terrestrial multi-cell performance compared with the conventional method using a fixed transmit power.
