  Abstract

In this paper, the IP-INLMS algorithm for acoustic echo cancellation is proposed. The proposed algorithm introduces the concept of the IP-NLMS algorithm, which has fast initial convergence, to the INLMS algorithm, which has the robustness to the near-end interference by adjusting the step-size. In the experiment, the proposed method show the improved performance in terms of misalignment and convergence speed of the filter comparing to INLMS algorithm.
