  Abstract

In this paper, the GNSS signal generation technology that can be used in places such as indoors, underground, and tunnels where GNSS signals do not reach is not only effective for the normal operation of general GNSS receivers, but also mixed positioning or complex positioning such as GNSS/DR and GNSS/INS. The performance improvement results were demonstrated through theoretical approaches and field tests in real tunnel environments that it can be used for solutions that perform positioning. Through this study, it was confirmed that the GNSS signal generator improves the performance of not only the GNSS positioning device but also the DR positioning device, so it can be used to improve the navigation performance of vehicles and smartphones in tunnels and to improve the positioning performance of indoor drones.
